Hayley Cole

Hayley is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Independent Prescriber and Senior Lecturer with over 25 years of experience working in both Primary and Secondary Care. Her specialist interest is in Neurology, and she has extensive expertise in Movement Disorders, such as Parkinson’s.

Hayley qualified as an Adult Nurse in 2002 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and then went on to do her Specialist Practitioner qualification in 2007 at Reading University. In 2014, she qualified as an Independent and Supplementary Prescriber at Buckinghamshire New University and became a Specialist Nurse in Parkinson’s and Lead Nurse for Neurology. She left the NHS in 2023 to embark on her academic career and now teaches the Non-Medical Prescribing course at Buckinghamshire New University.

Hayley works alongside Imran and Aamir in the Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) clinics, assisting with venepuncture and preparing the PRP.
When not teaching or nursing, she enjoys yoga, hiking and dance.
